windows update
what\’s up with last Tuesday update, It broke of things on my computer. I have re installed Itunes cc cleaner and few other apps. may be Microsoft gone try and do this so people will move to vista. 😉 I think I\’m gone move to vista ordered the oem ver but not gone update it now. will give more time for my xp box to die down
Opera 9.2 for desktop
well downloaded it, I like the new speed dial feature, hope some one bring that to firefox :$, love to use opera as my main browser but so used to adblock and seeing adds annoys me now 🙁 . opera should bring that feature as well (they have image block but that\’s not good enough)
thin clients
I always didn’t liked the idea. Of using thin clients. But now after using it for a while on a project I started to like them. 1st of all it’s saves lot of power and very quite and no need to worry about users putting any cds floppies etc. Every thing is from server. so installing and managing software easy as well. Windows 2003 terminal server is rock solid. Cost while it will cost more money to setup but long run it will save you money as very low maintenance saves lot of electricity and best of all users will have the same experience.
just finished the wp update
well finish updating the code base to latest one, seems to be stable, funny thing is my host give a wp autoupdate but I can\’t use it as I didn\’t installed through their system. all have to be done manually 🙁
Another window mobile
I\’m now given a Vodafone VPA Compact III v1605. all though I hate windows mobile 5.0. This one is a gem of a phone, reboot only take a sec so even if it’s crash don’t matter. And works well with exchange, I get mails faster than sms now, very cool. All in all I’m very happy
got my invitation to Joost
Well got my user name to the Joost, It’s not all that my connection speed is only 4mb cable so buffering a lot. Noting exciting to watch in their. Not cancelling  my sky subscriptions any time thoughÂ
My new job
I’m so use to work on single corporate IT departments, which is lot easier than my current job,  as we manage lot of company’s IT, It\’s a different challenge every day.  It’s hard and stressful but I love it. I should have done this long before I would have been a expert. Only worked here for 4 weeks but I learned lots about windows 2003 AD and exchange. Working with lot of IT people help me learn new stuff as well.
oscilloscopes
They are so expensive even older analogue models in ebay going for £100s of pounds. I\’m not a big fan of USB oscilloscopes. I haven\’t seen a good review about them even they are not cheap.

Time for new pc ?
I don’t know, I need a new pc to play games 🙁 all the games I want to play need a high end system. I really don’t want to move it to new system. I just work out how much it will cost me nearly £1500 hmm I don’t want to spend that much on a computer,
